Meet Claire and Leah

Claire Eden is a principal of Atlanta Breastfeeding Consultants, LLC. She has been supporting breastfeeding families since 1998 through La Leche League International and as a board certified lactation consultant since 2009.  

Born in the midwest, Claire grew up in Gainesville, Florida and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communications from Brigham Young University.  Before becoming a lactation consultant, Claire worked in health administration.   She has enjoyed putting down roots in the Atlanta community since 2000 through volunteer work and community involvement.

She is currently on the board of the Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition and is a member of the International Lactation Consultants Association (ILCA), the United States Lactation Consultants Association (USLCA),  and the Southeast Lactation Consultant Association (SELCA).  She also serves families as a lactation consultant at Children’s Health Care of Atlanta.

Claire enjoys many interests including reading, antiques, blogging and sewing.  She and her husband Carlton are the parents of three daughters.

Leah Aldridge is a board certified lactation consultant and principal of Atlanta Breastfeeding Consultants, LLC. She has served the cause of mothers and babies for over ten years in the greater Atlanta area through Board service on Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia, Inc., the Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. and through mother-to-mother support with La Leche League International. Leah is a member of the International Lactation Consultants Association (ILCA), the United States Lactation Consultants Association (USLCA), and the Southeast Lactation Consultant Association (SELCA).

Prior to her lactation profession, Leah practiced law for many years in the corporate healthcare industry. Her primary area of focus was mergers and acquisitions among healthcare-related parties such as physicians, hospitals and healthcare technology companies. Leah graduated with a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1990 and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1993.

Personally, Leah loves to hike, to read, to snow ski, to practice yoga and to cook and entertain friends and family. Leah is married to a local Atlanta attorney and has three children.
