Breastfeeding is a learned art and each breastfeeding family has its own unique goals that we strive to help identify and support. As a new or expectant parent, you are in a ‘ripe’ state- ready to learn and to empower yourself. You need support that is mindful of that state and that will give you confidence as a parent. We seek a balance of knowing when to sit back and “let it work” and when to step in with information and support.
To meet your needs as a new breastfeeding family, all of our services are offered by IBCLCs- board certified lactation consultants, to ensure you are getting the most up-to-date and reliable information and support. We are able to offer limited weekend and evening hours in addition to daytime consults. Our menu of services for new parents in Cobb, Fulton and DeKalb counties includes:
In-home Lactation Consultation $175
You can benefit from a lactation consult if your baby is not gaining well, if breastfeeding is painful, if your baby is ill, if you need help with pumping, if your baby is not latching, if you have a low milk supply, if you have a premature baby, if you have twins or multiples, if you have had breast surgery, or if breastfeeding just isn’t going well.
- most consults take about two hours, ranging from 1.5-3 hours
- includes information packet, recommendations, email and/or telephone follow-up and physician’s report
- twin consult, $250
- return visits as requested, $100

Private Breastfeeding Classes $125
- 1.5-2 hour class customized to your questions, concerns or back-to-work plans to help you make and execute a plan for breastfeeding success before your baby arrives
- includes resource packet and text
- at your location and at a time convenient to you
- includes your partner or support person
Breastfeeding House Parties $75 per couple
- you host a 1.5-2 hour class at your location
- you can invite pregnant co-workers, friends, members of your childbirth class
- your tuition discounted $10 for each couple that attends
- includes resource packet and text
- small additional fee for using our location (N. Perimeter, Buckhead or Grant Park)
- minimum three couples
Personalized “Back to Work” consultation $60 an hour
- pro-rated to quarter hour
- via telephone or Skype
- includes follow-up email with resources
